Multi-purpose hall for new "Caravan site Seeblick" in Gützkow

What's the most important thing on holiday? Good weather! And what do you do when the sun isn't shining? The new "Seeblick" caravan site was built on the idyllic lake Kosenow in Gützkow in 2021. Thanks to the new multi-purpose hall, guests can now have fun here whatever the weather! 

The project, which was completed in mid-2021 and offers 80 pitches for caravans and motorhomes, includes a multi-purpose hall for sports activities such as bowling and squash, complemented by catering and sanitary facilities.

HAB was commissioned with the construction of the sports hall and the entire roof structure of the leisure and social centre complex. The latter spans a good two thirds of the leisure hall and one third of the social centre. The difference is clearly visible in the façade design. The leisure area shines in a light blue colour, while the brick social building is tinted rust-brown. The playfully designed row of windows hints at the fun and games behind the façade of the lightweight hall. Two windows have been alternately inserted into this as flat rectangles and two as isosceles triangles.The glass surfaces are also divided into small sections. The extravagant window shapes and all the doors were cut into the 100-millimetre-thick, thermally insulated sandwich panels on site. The entire roof of the multi-purpose hall is fitted with solar modules. Generous construction freedom on the previously undeveloped site made it possible for HAB to realise the building project within six months.
